We’ve needed a little boost in our house over the past week for a myriad of reasons. So, I added this to the chalkboard wall in our back entry way:
I love Elf. It’s hands down my favorite Christmas movie ever. I haven’t watched it yet this December; I’m saving it for this weekend. It never fails to make me laugh every time I watch it. I love the childlike spirit of the story, and the idea that you can spread your love and a little Christmas cheer anytime, anywhere with a song.
If you would like to adorn your house with this delightful quote, I found a couple of free printables for you (just click on the picture and it will take you to the download page):
What songs will you sing with your kids this week to inspire a little Christmas cheer? Join the conversation and leave a comment. In our house we’re giggling over Frosty the Snowman and our own [unique] version of “Jingle Bells” (the lyrics have included, Santa, gnomes, reindeer and something that sounds like ”Batman smells”).
One final note of Christmas Cheer, Congratulations to the winner of this week’s giveaway:
Trish who said: ”My girls LOVE Candy Cane Jane! Thank you!”
Thanks again to Laurie Berkner and Susie Tallman for providing copies of their fabulous Christmas albums to help kick off Swing Whistle Zing’s launch. Thank you all for visiting and participating in the giveaways!

I was just introduced to the hip hop reindeer song! My class just performed it yesterday for their families. So cute! They even wore sunglasses
Sounds like so much fun! I bet it was a blast for the parents. Thanks for sharing!
